Boys Varsity Soccer Write-Up

BVS continues on their dominating path with a tie with Dalton. On October 4, One cold and windy afternoon, there was bronchitis in the air and vomit on the field, perfect conditions for a **rubs hands together** tie! Jack Noveck-Holmes (junior) made some good saves though. The game went into over and left us in shock! Dalton scored with 2 minutes left, we thought all was lost BUT THEN, at the last minute Daniel “Mr Climate” Silverstein (junior) scored! Final score 1-1!

October 7th was quite a game. Another day, another win. Things were looking tough in the first 20 min (tied 2-2). But in the end we won 6-2. James Broderick (junior) scored, huzzah, and Itai, the elder Grofman, (senior) scored 4 goals. 

Additionally, on the lovely sabbath morning of October 12, BVS found themselves at Horace Mann’s homecoming. A tense game, but our winning streak continued with a final score of 2 - 1. The elder Grofman brother and Calder Stokes (junior) both scored. Fantastic game.
