JV Girls Soccer Write-Up

The Fieldston girls Junior Varsity soccer team played Poly Prep on Wednesday, October 23th, at 4:15 pm. They played their last game at their home field in Van Cortlandt Park. They won the game 1-0 with a great freekick goal from Carson (sophomore). They played an 11v11 lineup with a 4-3-3 formation. Their backline was Sadie (sophomore), Carson (sophomore), Alex (sophomore), and Isabel (freshman) who throughout the game and especially during the last half stopped many attempts from Poly. Their midfield was Catelin (sophomore), Narissa (sophomore), and Jordan (freshman) who made many passes and combinations. Their two forwards were Cassidy (freshman) and Logan (freshman) who had a lot of shots on goal. Their goalie Charlotte (freshman) made many saves and managed to hold Poly to a shutout game.
